Gallagher Drilling is partnering with the MGSC on the Mumford Hills and Sugar Creek EOR projects and Tanquary CBM projects. Gallagher established the Mumford Hills oil field in the early 1970s and continues to manage its operations and development. Gallagher brings extensive Illinois Basin reservoir experience to the MGSC team.

The Schlumberger Carbon Services business unit was formed in 2005, with an international presence, specifically to focus on CO2 storage activities. Schlumberger Carbon Services is a wholly owned division of Schlumberger that undertakes technical consultancy and project management work within the fields of CO2 storage and exploration and appraisal of geological structures.
